The Essex County Labour Party is the ruling body for the Essex County Labour Group of Councillors who serve on Essex County Council.
Essex Labour Party works closely with all Essex Labour MPs, Councillors and Party Members to ensure the widest possible cooperation throughout the County to deliver the best possible representation at County Hall Chelmsford, for the benefit of Essex people.
The Essex County Labour Party advises the elected representatives on policy issues covering such areas as Education, Social Services, Libraries, Transport, the Environment, Planning, Waste, and Culture & Heritage.
